Good day Dean Leonora Reyes. We are Stephanie Christi F. Arribe and Emmanuel Jayson R. Abarquez from Dominican College San Juan. We are East West reviewees from the CRP1 last sept.-dec. for the December 2-3, 2006 local boards.
We graduated March of 2006 under an in-house review and took the exam last june but it was a blessing in disguise that we failed after all. I am not a hypocrite and do admit that i got stuck up for months due to my failure because i graduated with honors and the only one out of nine who didn't pass. But still i got up to my feet and moved on thru God's help.
We enrolled at eastwest because of its relaxing schedule (being an 8-12 class) and reasonable price. I, Stephanie passed the preboard exam with an ave. of 78% but Jayson on the other hand failed with an average of 69% but still, he was happy for the reason that his grade was a lot higher than the june exam. I too was happy because my june grade was 70%.
Our hopes were so high up as the december boards was nearing that we'll surely make it this time. Two nights before the results came out my grandfather passed away due to his Ca which made me sober for days because he was not able to see our names in the newspapers but still thanking God for taking away his suffering and making us RN's at last.
We were so proud of ourselves when we got our board rating. Jayson Got 77%, his lowest grade as 75 and his highest was 77%. I on the other hand got 83.20% with a lowest of 81% and the highest was 85%. i prayed to God everyday and fasted to make us RN's this December 06' and He did! even giving us grades high enough to apply in prestigious institutions.
We want to thank East West Educational Specialists Inc. family for guiding us through our review and providing the most comfortable venue and knowledgeable professors all throughout our stay. Everyone was very warm yet strict which was very appropriate and we are really very thankful for everything. Godbless and more power to East West and may you continue to educate more nurses nationwide as you did to us.=) |
